Early St Etienne French wooden fabric or leather measure with brass ends c1800. This rare piece is signed all over. Two sides have hand cut measurement marks and the other two sides are blank. The two ends have solid brass plates. This French fabric or leather ruler measures 39 and one half inches long by 3 and one eighth by 3 and one eighth inches thick. This piece was made from one solid piece of French Walnut.ST ETIENNE is an industrial town of east-central France.

Antique cast iron enameled basting grill, This unique, antique kitchen cooking tool appears to have been designed to catch juices of what is being cooked, in a cup which is part way down the handle and the cup has a spout on the side, for which to pour out the juices. I was also designed so if the cup was filled and the handle was lifted it would baste the food on the grill. This "antique cooking tool" measures 22 inches long overall. The grill surface is approx. 9 and three quarters inches at the widest point by 8 and one half inches. The cup for catching measures 3 inches in diameter and is approx. 1 inch deep. This period piece is signed all around the top rim but we are unable to read what is says.

John J Waldman Improved wire measuring machine New York c1900. This machine was used to measure wire. The wire was put in the hole on the side and the machine would tell you how many feet in lengths of ten, one hundred, one thousand and ten thousand. The face is solid brass and the case cast iron. Measures 11 and one half inches high.

Large Antique brass bucket by W Hayden. This antique solid brass bucket measures 11 and one half inches high by 17 and one half inches across. When the handle is up it measures 21 inches to the top. Stamped on the base W. Hayden patented 1851 manufactured May 24 1870. Excellent condition with out repairs or damage and made from thick heavy brass. We rarely find antique brass buckets in this large size.
